FAQs
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK WITH THE OLIVE COLLECTIVE?
We’re currently booking through the end of 2026, with availability still open for 2025. Since we take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives the best possible experience and photos, we recommend booking sooner rather than later to secure your date.
WILL YOU POST MY PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
If it’s okay with you, we’d love to share your session! Along with the contract signing, you’ll see a clause about social media posting. This is completely optional—you’re welcome to opt out if you prefer. But if you love your photos, we’d be so excited to share them so others can see our work too!
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
We’ll send you an invoice for your session/event.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to officially reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due 1 week before your session/event date. The invoice will stay open, so you’re welcome to make payments in smaller chunks over time or pay it off in full ahead of schedule—whatever works best for you!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU TRAVEL?
We’re based in Hamilton, Ontario, but we absolutely love to travel! Whether you’re nearby or planning something farther away, we’d be thrilled to come to you. Please note: Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS BACK?
For Weddings, our typical delivery time is 6–12 weeks, For regular Sessions, delivery is usually within 4 weeks. Proofs will always be sent within these timelines so you can get an early preview of your photos!
HOW LONG WILL OUR SESSION TAKE?
Session lengths are outlined in your contract and invoice, but we’re always flexible in making sure all the content you’re looking for is captured. While we do follow the scheduled time, if things run a little longer, that’s perfectly okay! If you’re enjoying the session, chances are we are too—so why cut a good thing short?
